Sunshine Coast Regional District CAO to Resign from Post
Dean McKinley, Chief Administrative Officer of the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) will be resigning from his position effective Friday, August 30, 2024.
Dean McKinley joined the SCRD as the CAO on January 6, 2020.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we extend our sincere thanks to him for the service he has provided over the past 4.5 years, and we wish him well in the future,” says Leonard Lee, Chair of the SCRD Board. “We also want to take this opportunity to thank all SCRD staff for their support and ongoing efforts to provide excellent services to our community. It is truly appreciated.”
Tina Perreault, GM, Corporate Services, and CFO, will continue acting in the capacity of CAO until such time as the Board can meet and formally address this matter on September 12, 2024.
It is anticipated that the Board will look to appoint an interim CAO and then commence the process to fill the upcoming CAO vacancy on a regular basis.
