Located just outside of downtown Gibsons, the Gibsons and Area Community Centre offers a wide range of programming, large rentable rooms and is home to an NHL sized arena. The facility also includes a weight room and courts for squash and racquetball.

If your arena rental is outside of the hours listed above, please enter through the arena level entrance (lower parking lot).

The Youth Centre is operated under contract by the YMCA of Greater Vancouver and provides a FREE lounge and design studio for people ages 12 to 18. Whether you are looking to hang out, develop new skills, access a phone charger or a 3D printer, a serger or a vinyl cutter, a colour printer or a recording studio, stop by during our drop in hours to access our technology and knowledgeable facilitators.
Regular Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
Temporarily Monday and Friday closures due to staffing availability.

- Fridays, May 2 and 9
- Mondays, May 5 and 12
The YMCA is actively recruiting another staff member and more updates will be provided after May 12.

You can book one of our two arenas through the SCRD. This includes the Gibsons and Area Community Center (GACC) or the Sunshine Coast Arena (SCA).
- Ice season at GACC, early August to the middle of May.
- Ice season at SCA, late September to the middle of March.
- Dry floor season at SCA, early April to early September.
