Financial Assistance
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) operates a program to provide some help for those living on a low income to access recreation.
The program is called the ‘LIFE Program’. It stands for ‘Leisure Inclusion for Everyone.’ Being active is important to physical and mental health. Living on a low income can make this difficult. If you are living on a low income, we have some ways that may help you access recreation services.
The LIFE Program offers:
- A MYPASS access card with limited visits that are valid January 1 – December 31 at all SCRD Recreation Facilities.
- Free skate and helmet rentals at the arenas and free locker tokens at the Sechelt Aquatic Centre and the Gibsons & District Aquatic Facility.
- Program credit for registration in any SCRD registered opportunity.
- Choice of options – please view the LIFE Application Form for details.
