Free Youth Transit Pass (S-Pass)
Starting November 1, young people aged 13 to 18 who are attending secondary school can avail of fare free transit on the Sunshine Coast.
In order to travel, you must first get an S-Pass.
Kids 12 and under can already travel free.
The 2024/2025 S-Pass is valid on SCRD conventional Transit buses between November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2025.
To get your S-Pass you must either have a valid SD46 Student ID or another government issued form of identification (like a passport or drivers licence)
How do I get an S-Pass?
To receive the S-Pass, visit any of the locations listed below during regular operating hours with your school or government issued I.D.
- Sechelt Aquatic Centre, 5500 Shorncliffe Avenue, Sechelt.
- Gibsons and Area Community Centre, 700 Park Road. Gibsons.
- Main SCRD Administration Building, 1975 Field Road, Sechelt
